Swapping assets across chains can seem complicated, but with Squid Router and Bifrost Wallet, it’s a smooth process. In this guide, we’ll walk through how to swap an EVM token like USDC to XRP on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
What You’ll Need
A small amount of ETH for gas fees
Your Bifrost Wallet set up and ready
Step 1: Connect to Squid
Open Bifrost Wallet, tap the browser icon, and go to app.squidrouter.com.
Select Connect Wallet and choose Bifrost Wallet.
Step 2: Choose Tokens
In the Send section, pick USDC (or another EVM token).
In the Receive section, search XRPL, then select XRP Token.
Confirm Bifrost as the recipient wallet.
Step 3: Approve and Swap
Enter the amount you want to swap.
Approve token usage and confirm any network switch.
Tap Swap, review details, and confirm.
Wait for finalization and your XRP will appear on XRPL.
Important Notes
As of August 2025, Squid supports swaps to XRPL only, not from it.
To swap from XRPL back to EVM, use Bifrost Wallet’s native swap feature.
